More About This Publication
We’re deeply honored to partner with the Connecticut State Library and celebrate America 250 with the Connecticut community at the Canterbury Public Library. We co-designed a Remix Station with Canterbury Public Library’s director, Beth Delaney, with the “Civics Mission: What new holiday will YOU dream up?”.
Nineteen (19) participants responded to this Creative Mission, described and sketched their ideas, shared the traditions behind the holidays, and highlighted the history behind them. The GIANT team of designers and educators transformed these ideas into AI avatars and published them as a deck of cards, each card featuring one idea. The GIANT Today In Our Town deck showcases everyone’s holidays in the community's holiday calendar!
