Made in collaboration with Ms. Leslie and Mx. Emily’s
2nd grade classes at the Lower Lab School
Students honed their nonfiction skills through collaborative research on two distinct animal species. This dynamic activity sparked creativity and refined research and teamwork abilities as they delved into captivating intricacies of diverse animal behaviors and traits. Inspired by the Pokémon Card Craze, each student crafted vibrant hybrid trading cards, intricately capturing the essence of their chosen animals.
Throughout this journey, our sensational second graders have acquired invaluable skills as engineers, architects, researchers, writers, and future problem solvers. They embraced critical thinking, precision, innovation, creativity, spatial awareness, and analytical thinking. This deck signifies not an end, but the commencement of a joyous journey in a lifetime of learning. We are so proud of our engineers' hard work, tenacity, and perseverance.
