FREE digital wellness workshop with The GIANT Room and Joan Ganz Cooney Center!
For families who dare to dream of a responsible, safe, and positive digital life!
Join us for a fun, informative, and interactive workshop on best practices for supporting cellphone ownership and use! This workshop is presented in collaboration with the Joan Ganz Cooney Center at Sesame Workshop and supported by Verizon. Families with children ages 5–12 are invited to RSVP and attend.
No matter your children’s age—preschool, school-aged, or adolescent—there’s little doubt they’ll be surrounded by technology as they grow up. This workshop is a unique opportunity for families to learn how to create safe spaces that foster healthy digital well-being. During the workshop, parents and children will create their own set of “Family Rule Cards” and a “Family Contract” template to establish family rules, routines, and boundaries. Families will leave with a set of actionable strategies and tools to support their children’s digital well-being, along with “Family Rule Cards” co-designed by children and parents in our GIANT community.
