DESCRIPTION: Be a bubble engineer and come to this workshop if you want to test out all sorts of bubble solutions and tools to make the most epic bubbles you can dream up. You'll have fun creating your own concoction of bubble with common kichen materials. Will you make giant bubbles, tiny ones, blue ones, smelly ones or even tasty ones? Up to you! Join this workshop for a mix of chemistry, engineering and creativity!

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Nathier is a multidisciplinary designer, researcher and artist, with a Master’s in Interactive Telecommunications [ITP] from NYU. As a designer, she creates rich visual landscapes that materialize in sets, experiences and interactive installations. Her current research focuses on the relationship between human and non-human interactions and what arises when emerging technologies are involved. She has an interest in living materials and possible intersections between biological and computational systems.

MATERIAL NEEDED: Bubble solution: warm water, dish soap, glycerine (or honey or maple syrup or corn syrup) + Bubble wand / tool: Pipecleaners, or bendable wire, straws

PRICE: $20/session OR $75 for 5 sessions (you’ll save $5/session with purchase of a package)
