For kids who love being inspired by books and dare to build their ideas!
Join us at Southampton Arts Center every Thursday, 1pm to 2:30pm, throughout the months of July and August for a workshop with the GIANT team (except from last week of July and last week of August).
The GIANT Room brings “Create Mode in Progress” – a creative meta-experience for kids – to Southampton Arts Center this summer. Every Thursday throughout the months of July and August (except the last week of July and last week of August), 1pm to 2:30pm, families with children ages 5 to 12 years old are invited to join the GIANT team, get inspired by books that take them to 100 different places, come up with cool ideas to build, and then build them with arts and crafts materials provided. The GIANT Room will also provide digital processing and editing of the submitted works to turn them into digital artifacts with interactions that you can experience at a final exhibition to be held at The GIANT Room and Southampton Arts Center in September.
