DESCRIPTION:
For kids who love to meet and create with one of their favorite book authors!
Join us live online for a special workshop with Antoinette Portis, author the New York Times best-selling Not A Box picture book, an American Library Association Seuss Geisel Honor book, and one of the New York Times Ten Best Illustrated Books of the Year.
Antoinette will read A Penguin Story and her new book, A Seed Grows. Inspired by her books, participants will be prompted to build original projects during the workshop. Participants have the option to take photos of their work and submit to us for a chance to exhibit in Create Mode in Progress exhibition, to be held at The GIANT Room gallery space and Southamptons Art Center in the Fall. That’s right! Your child will have a chance to exhibit their work in our gallery and at the museum!
Recommended for ages 3 to 12
