The GIANT Room, an innovation hub for children and their families, is excited to announce they will be partnering with Joan Ganz Cooney Center from Sesame Workshop and a large tech/media company thinking about building a digital play platform for younger kids. We want to hear parent opinions in the form of an online focus group via Zoom, followed by an in-person co-design session in NYC, and ending in one more online focus group. Participation is required for all three sessions. Parents with kids ages 6-9 are invited to apply.  Participants will receive a $200 incentive for their participation in all three sessions.

Participation entails joining two online focus groups and one free workshop focused on co-designing and learning parents’ thoughts on various gaming platforms. Participating parents will be required to join all three sessions. The first online focus group will be scheduled on July 29th from 7:30 to 8:45pm and the second will be held in late August but the date is still to be determined. The in-person co-design session will be held on August 5th from 5:30 to 7:15pm in-person at Sesame Workshop in New York City. When completing the application, applicants will be asked which times work best for them for all three sessions.
