Discover 100 ideas and add to them!

Illuminature Book illustrated by Carnovsky and written by Rachel Williams is a wonderful book that takes its readers to ten of the world's most diverse environments and reveals their hidden secrets. This book has been a staple of our GIANT programs, inspiring many kids to come up with unique ideas and build projects based on those ideas. We have used Augmented Reality (AR) technology to showcase a number of these projects on top of selected pages of the book.

We invite our community to check out the book, explore kids’ projects through AR experience on their mobile, get inspirations, build their own projects, and send us a photo of their projects.

We’ll add your project to the AR experience and exhibit it at “Create Mode in Progress” exhibition, to be held at The GIANT Room and Southampton Arts Center in Fall.

Curious to know what the AR experience could look like? Simple open this link on your mobile device and place your phone in front of the book cover image on this page and see the phoenix bird appearing in front of your eyes flying!

Below you can see some of kids projects being built inspired by book and discoverable on the AR Experience. Make your own ideas, take a photo and share with us so we add it to the AR experience as well as “Create Mode in Progress” exhibition.
