Discover 100 ideas and add to them!

Combining art, mythology, and science, What We See in the Stars gives readers a tour of the night sky through more than 100 magical pieces of original art, all accompanied by text that weaves related legends and lore with scientific facts. This beautifully illustrated book covers constellations, the moon, the bright stars, and the visible planets--as well as less familiar celestial phenomena like the outer planets, nebulae, and deep space. Adults seeking to recapture the magic of youthful stargazing, younger readers interested in learning about natural history and outer space, and those who appreciate beautiful, hand-painted art will all delight in this charming book.

“What we see in the stars” book has sparked many GIANT kids imagination to build amazing projects inspired by space. We have used Augmented Reality (AR) technology to showcase a number of these projects on top of selected pages of the book.

We invite our community to check out the book, explore kids’ projects through AR experience on their mobile, get inspirations, build their own projects, and send us a photo of their projects.

We’ll add your project to the AR experience and exhibit it at “Create Mode in Progress” exhibition, to be held at The GIANT Room and Southampton Arts Center in Fall.
