How Does Learning on Demand Work?
1- Invite a group of friends or your pod, and tell us a topic of your interest. You can organize 1 on 1 workshops with an instructor, or invite a group of friends to join. Topics could be as broad or as specific as you wish. Coding, game design, starting your own business, Minecraft, cooking, comics, doodling, engineering, improv, public speaking, you name it!
2- Decide the language for your program! We offer language immersion options in Spanish, Chinese, French, Korean, Persian, and Turkish.
3- Decide how much time you’d like to commit. After school, during the day, over the weekend. You name it. One hour every other day for two weeks, One hour a day for one week, Three hours a day for three weeks, it’s really up to you. Let us know what works for you and we’ll plan based on your needs.
4- Tell us if you’re interested in live online workshops, or in-person at our hub in Chelsea
Price:
$75/hour for live online workshops, which will be divided between total number of participants. So if you invite four other friends to join you, each participant will pay $15/session. If you book 5 sessions, you’ll receive a free session. If you book 10 sessions, you’ll receive three free sessions.
For in-person, $500 for two-hours for up to 8 participants ($31.25/hr for each participant).
Instructors:
All of our instructors are highly trained to work with children, in-person or remotely. They all have degrees from top universities including NYU, Parsons, Columbia, Stanford, and Cooper Union. Our founders both have PhDs in eduction from Teachers College, Columbia University.
