Workshop: Sewing Lights Together

Workshop: Sewing Lights Together

For maker kids who want to sew a textile that lights up! Join this workshop for an introduction to e-textiles where you will learn how to stitch, wire and power-up LEDs. We will be working with fun textiles and materials to design a quilt that will light up the night. Participants will learn about simple circuits, conductive thread, batteries, LEDs, and more. Together, we’ll create a large 20+ swatch quilt with lights and exhibit our masterpieces at The GIANT Wave Makers Festival!
